Laser welding produces welds that are stronger and more precise than arc welding, but they can only be used on thin metals. Arc welding is better for joining thicker pieces of metal together, but it doesn’t produce as strong a weld as laser welding does.
It’s true that this welder can weld aluminum. In fact, The best way to weld steel and aluminum together is fiber laser welding.
Laser welder is a great choice for thin metal welding, which thickness limited to 6mm. If material is thicker, then trasitional arc welding will be a better choice.
